Hi, I'm Natalie. I was born in the Netherlands, but I've spent most of my life right here in the Cape — and I've never stopped exploring it. I love the Cape: its breath-taking variety of flowers and the never-ending shades of the Atlantic, its complex history and awe-inspiring mountains, the vineyards of our winelands and the wealth of sea life along our wild, rugged coastline. It has something for everyone!

Best of all, we can explore in your own language. I guide comfortably in Dutch, English and Afrikaans, and speak a good bit of German too — so whether you're from Amsterdam, Antwerp, Berlin, London or beyond, you'll feel right at home and never miss a story.

The colourful houses of the Bo-Kaap
The Story of the Bo-Kaap

Cape Town's most colourful quarter

Draped over the slopes of Signal Hill, the Bo-Kaap is one of the city's oldest and most photographed neighbourhoods. Its houses — every shade of pink, lime, turquoise and gold — belong to the Cape Malay community, descendants of people brought here in the 1700s from Indonesia, Malaysia and East Africa. As the story goes, once they were finally freed they painted their homes in joyful colours to celebrate their freedom. Walk the cobbled streets with me and we'll find the Auwal Mosque — South Africa's oldest, dating to 1794 — fragrant spice shops, and families who have lived here for generations, and I'll share the real history behind the postcard.

Everything is tailored to what you'd love to see.
What languages do you speak?
I guide comfortably in Dutch, English and Afrikaans, and speak a good bit of German too — so you can explore in the language you're most at home in.
Do you collect me from my hotel?
Yes — I'll pick you up from your hotel or guesthouse and bring you back afterwards, so your day is completely stress-free.
How much do tours cost?
Full-day tours are R5 000 for up to 3 guests (entrance fees excluded). Guided walking tours are from R500 per person (2–3 hours). A Winelands day is R5 000 for up to 3 guests, tastings included (lunch excluded). For larger groups or longer trips, just ask for a quote.
How do I book and pay?
Booking is quick and personal — just message me by email or WhatsApp. We'll confirm your date, itinerary and price, and I'll send you the payment details.
Are entrance fees and meals included?
Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude entrance fees (like the Table Mountain Cableway, Cape Point, Boulders penguins, wine tastings or boat trips), meals and drinks. I'll always let you know exactly what to expect upfront.
Can you plan a custom tour just for me?
Absolutely — that's my favourite kind of day. Tell me what you love (history, wine, wildlife, photography, hiking) and how much time you have, and I'll build something just for you.
Are you a registered guide?
Yes. I'm a registered tourist guide with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP), so you're in safe, professional hands.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Cape Town weather can change fast, so we stay flexible. If needed, we'll adjust the itinerary or reschedule — always putting your safety and experience first.
